Screw-in resistance thermometers
Screw-in resistance thermometers (55-WES) are used in standard temperature measurements in low pressure ranges in gaseous and liquid media, depending on the quality of the cover and the type of medium up to 800°C. The connector with connecting thread is welded to the protective pipe, ensuring the correct position of the sensor and durability of the connection.
Depending on the version, the thread is placed just below the head or at a distance from it, thus ensuring a safe distance from high temperatures. Standard protective fittings are made of high-quality seamless acid-resistant steel pipes. For measurements in an environment with fast changing temperature, we recommend resistance thermometers with a tapered measuring tip.
For special applications (requiring exceptional accuracy, long-term and stable operation, etc.), we recommend using increased accuracy resistance thermometers. The resistance value and measurement accuracy of our resistance thermometers are in accordance with DIN EN 60751.
Our resistance thermometers are also available in versions intended for use in potentially explosive atmosphere (ATEX).
Examples of application for screw-in resistance thermometers:
- Recycling / waste incineration
- Machine&system building
- Automotive and aviation industry
- Chemical industry
- Energy generation
